help please-broke down

It's an aftermarket kill switch. I hope you got a car fax report before you purchased it. Makes me wonder what else might be lurking that you don't know about. lol

The alarms works perfect not a single glitch.
I most def got a Carfax and it was clean, Then came on here to find that my car was owned by a previous member, I read every one of his posts and even found his Cardomain site. As far as accidents go, none that I find. But did find out that he had APC tails and neons on that were not present when I got her. There is like a year unaccounted for, I know the car was in the dealer auction world for a bit though.

okay back to me lol....i have no alarm. i just went and checked and not a single fuse is blown...so apparently its a fuseable link somewhere...anyone know where?

Do you have the remote fob to lock and un-lock your doors. If you do then you have a factory alarm. The system shuts the car completely down.

the fusible link would and did go first..it was just a slight pop and it died it didnt smoke or anything...right now i just need to know where to locate this stupid thing.....i cant find it anywhere

you obviously dont know what a fusible link is....theyre random fuses along the harness used as a failsafe to prevent frying stuff...theyre not located in the fuse box

I always thought the fusible links were the larger black "fuses" that are located under the hood, in the fuse box next to the battery. The really big ones that can't be seen through. Just my guess/$.02. Good luck!!

EDIT/ADD - I know my older cars ('86 civic, etc) had a simply little metal strap that was the fusible link (easily replaced once by speaker wire) but I think with the "newer" cars they've replaced that with these larger ones
