The only reason I would take the wing off is if I was going so fast that I wanted to lose the extra drag lol. It's what makes it look like a MSP! Joka's car is legit tho.

With the right mods it can look tight I guess. Yellowmsp035 and blkonblkMSP those are tight as hell.
Instead of buying a carbon fiber trunk I called up LKQ automotive; a used auto parts parts supplier located here in FL, to try a find just a regular protege trunk. A day later I got a call back after they found me a 02 protege trunklid for $130. Not a bad deal at all, also considering that I paint cars that helps reduce the cost of labor/paint dramatically LOL, but even still its worth a try for anyone interested in just a regular trunk. Plus they are very light in weight to begin with and look sooo clean without the wing.
If you aren't interested in the carbon fiber look , this is the way to go imo. I can give you the number to call my friend Adam,lmk

no, an oem protege trunk. Re-read what I wrote. If you want a trunk without holes< i can most likely source one out for you.
I actually found someone selling one local. I might do it but im not sure how much it might run me on prep and paint. Got any idea?

I'm not sure about wingless on an 03. 03.5 it looks ok. I guess I like the look of the 03 wing. I never was crazy about the 03.3 wing.
