As for impressions? Well let me begin by saying...

THIS THING IS LOUD!!!!!! haha, no seriously, especially when you let off the gas...the whole cabin is intensified by the loud noise of the engine...I am just hoping that its going through the break in process...but to put it into perspective....imagine putting 2 TRZ Delrin mounts for both the side mounts...thats the best I can describe the noise level....it has significantly shot up...I have a rear cp-e motor mount (50A gen 1 bushing) so it does NOT add any extra noise or vibration from stock...the noise is definitely from the mounts transferring the engine noise through the cabin

Vibrations are not bad what so ever...letting it sit at idle is very mellow...also taking off from a stop isn't too bad...it's just when you let off the gas around 3k and coast down...FREAKING LOUD!!!!!!!

But I am very satisfied with the engine staying in place...its very solid in the front end....I can rev her up to 5k in first and let off the throttle...and it sticks like glue...very nice....however I have not yet floored it and banged the crap out of the gears...I am waiting for everything to settle in

I am hoping in about 500 miles it will settle down...I do not recommend these mounts for daily...haha its hella noisy...that is, assuming the noise level does not go down....but if the noise level does go down, then by all means, this is a product for most people

yea i had to take mine off for some warranty work, but dont think i will put them back in, the transmission wine was almost unbearable in the cabin

The tranny sure is noisier with the TRZ mounts as well. With the window down or music playing, I don't even notice though. The drivability is so enhanced, however, even as a daily driver, that I wouldn't give these up.

maybe I'm just spoiled because I drive a 95 toyota camry V6 as a daily...gawd that thing is so smooth and quiet even for a 15 year old car!

but really though...I been driving around the MS3 with the medieval mounts and I'm praying the noise will go down...cuz it is loud as hell!

hate to break it..... it wont haha. maybe a little but you will notice the noises regardless

My engine just had to "settle" in to where it was now bolted. The tranny noises are so quiet now that one of the ladies I work with didn't notice anything was amiss when we went to lunch today. It still whines when the clutch is released in neutral, but not even noticeable to outside observer.

I picked mine up from Dark Star Motorsports. I am now running all 3 Medieval mounts. It took about 2 weeks before they broke in. You can order them right from Dark Star or from Medieval. *******************.com or medievalllc.com

I just installed the Medieval traction bars and for some reason the noise when you let off the gas is far less than it is with the 3 motor mounts.

impressions of traction bars

no i did not and they are not required according to dark star

is that correct?

i had to use some, idk if others had the issue but maybe thats why i had so much noise. i had mine in for 3 weeks and the noise never went away, i also had to buy another bolt to go between the mounts, the one supplied was not long enough. Darkstar was aware of this but the bolt was a dollar and i wasent gonna wait for them to ship me another when i can drive to the store and buy one.

loved the mounts non the less, but i might sell and try and get a torque dampner so i dont have the noise but still get some reinforcement

The washers are causing the noise with your mounts. There shouldn't be any washers underneth base plates. The base plates are made perfectly to contour to the shapes of the transmission and frame of the car. You will only need 2 washers that go on either side of the bushing.

o i ment the washers were on top of the plate between the bolt and plate, seemed as if the bolt was too long for mount
