Waht would you do with 50K?

Pay off my college tuitions, and S2000 and if there is anything left over, complete suspension overhaul and new tires.

Rebuild and mod both my GT's, buy a GTX, Build a workshop in the back yard with a hoist and stocked with parts.

Pay off my car, then give the rest to a charity for cancer.

I don't like being handed stuff but getting rid of car payments never hurt :)

Or buy endless sets of baller rims that I could sell for 50k+ and invest it for retirement or to travel the world. Then give 25k to a cancer charity. I don't need/want that much money for free/no reason.

Buy a few acres in Jamaica (or any other island in the Lower Antilles, because the dollar to dollar rate is fkin' awesome) and build a house & still have money left over to live comfortably by eating seafood everyday...fking crabs, lobsters and other crustaceans...no questions asked...that's what I would do.

i'd prolly drop it on my mortgage. that would save me about 10-20k in interest, and then id be on track to have my house paid off in only a couple more years. after that, i'd have an extra 1500 a month kicking around, so i'd be able to put on an addition, or save that left over and when the market recovers sell my house for cash (since itd be paid off) and drop it on a new house with double the value for less than my current monthly payment.

edit: just checked my amort chart, it would save me 40,000 in interest and take 10 years off a 30 year loan (omg)

See...that's what I'm talking about!

Everyone has the right idea on purchasing/paying off a house.

I'd use it to finally finish every house project that's either half done or needs to be done.
