What have you done to your Rotary Mazda Today?

One of these days...I'd like to dynamat the Cosmo and have a new sound system put in...(2thumbs)

As for recent mods...Here's a quick update from my project thread:

http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123683937&page=29

The new mod...A CARBING front strutbar...Got one for the rear as well but that will be installed later on...Maybe when I replace the rear speakers. It requires cutting or removing the stock rear deck.

An extremely nice piece...strong, sturdy and made in Japan...(thumb)

Have the day off so assuming weather is good i will be tackling the dynamat, my window regulator and switch stuff should be here today so that will go in, i may tackle the corksport SS clutch line i received the other day...and i just ordered a RB header that will be here next week

the SS line is like a 15 min job.. EASY.. one thing I recomend is using a new slave cylinder.. if u are in there its an additional 5 minutes to replace and well if u have many years of age onit it never hurts to change it since u are messing with the system.

They are 40.00 shipped from me BRAND NEW.. just soemthing to have on mind when u do the job.

yeah, if you are swapping to a SS line, you will want to either replace or rebuild the slave. you will be adding more pressure to the line since a SS line doesn't flex like the stocker. it will save you having to get stuck without a clutch.

Exactly.. that was my point in mentioning it.

btw that 40.00 for the slave includes free priority shipping..

well that turned out to be pretty much a waste. Turns out the regulator i got was busted as well. The motor clicks but the regulator doesnt move anywhere plus the wheel is slides on in the track was broke in half. On the plus side my passenger side window works at least now

picked up the N350 MAP sensor i needed from a local for $10 and my check engine light is gone yay

Put on a strut tower bar the other night, bought spark plug wires today from mazda, and the header goes on sunday. Hopefully I have some time to yank the ac system and the vacuum spider on sunday as well assuming all goes well with the header
