Speed3 GT owners w/leather bolsters - need your help...

I'm a pretty short guy at 5'5, so the seatbelt height level on the b-pillar is set at the lowest setting so it doesn't ride up my neck. It's pretty uncomfortable at any other setting. My issue is that the seatbelt rubs against the top left part of the seat on the leather part. So any movement causes squeaky noises. It's not the buckle or the retaining mechanism. Wondering if y'all had any solutions to get rid of the noise.

I was thinking of maybe cutting a piece of towel or any cloth and placing it on that part where it rubs, but that would look pretty ghetto. Don't really want to lubricate the seat or belt with anything since it would probably get on my clothes? Up for any suggestions

you could do the cloth thing. I would try to find some black felt and put it the belt part not the seat itself. as for glue i would go with some kind of contact cement. almost like a laminate glue. i know 3 m makes some in a spray can. hell super glue may work too

Try raising the seat bottom? Might elevate you enough to not cause the rubbing.

Duh...I totally forgot the fact that our seat lowers and raises. I think I'll tweak that along with the seatbelt height and come up with a compromise. Thanks for the reminder!

Yeah I'm the same height or maybe an inch or two taller, and I have the seat raised all the way, the belt never bothers me.
