went down to cobb and bought the sri and came home and installed it!

Stock Hood Weight: 39 lbs (including OEM air duct)
Carbon Fiber Hood Weight: 18-20 lbs (including OEM air duct)

haha. nothing is wrong with the hood. i'm painting the sides of the hood to match the car. it'll make more sense when the work is done. i'll take pix and keep u guys posted.

the hood is from Fiber Images.

got my tires rotated and picked up my new O2 sensor from the dealer.....

OMG! Mazda! of course I would love to pay $187.50 for a new O2 sensor just because you have to have a machine put them in so a human cant possibly get them out without ruining them! Thanks! Love ya!

There is something about an oil change that makes me feel good. When i first switched to synthetic on any of my cars i will swear i could hear the difference. The valve train on startup when cold seems so much smoother too.

agreed. i think my exhaust was a tad bit quieter afterwards
