First Modification Recommendation wanted

Hi I am new in the speed3 world, I would like to start my first modification, I have in mind weather a Downpipe or a Cp-e FMIC.

What do the experts say?

or is there something else that should go first? what kind of performance should I expect with stock ms3 and one of the mentioned mods?

I would highly suggest something a big smaller for your first mod imo of course.

Maybe an intake, motor mounts, even gauges just because you can never be to safe

and if you have any questions abot blow off valves or intakes make sure to read my faqs

i would do, bpv/bov (refer to AAMGuy ;-) ), intake, motor mount.

you can get the TRZ MM and corksport race pipe from protege garage for 250 shipped. thats a great combo to start off with

Upgraded bypass valve
DashHawk (always good to know stuff about your car) or at least a boost gauge
RPMC turbo inlet pipe
Intake is always good (CPE nano, or join the 327 mile long line for the Cobb SRI)
Upgraded boost tubes
catless test pipe
rear motor mount

All fairly cheap, but good in their own way.

you could keep everyting stock and go to a shop and get it tuned. im sure all they would need to do is fiddle with some mapping and fuel trims and you could pump out more power from the same equipment.

either way, anytihng you do can (and probably will) mess with the unmentionable W word....lets just say it rhymes with shmorantee

no shop can tune our stock ecu, ud have to buy an EMS first

I agree about the mount, this will helkp out with wheel hop, the car already has too much power and engine mount would keep sticked to the ground to minimize the wheel hop, especialy sence your gonna be running more power. More power = More Wheel Hop

so ultimately more power = less power.
