lol, I know man I LOVE them. That is the next purchase to make, new or used, I'm getting the dash.

The carpet is going to be last because out of everything, it's going to be the hardest and most inconvenient because of my front seats. It took forever for me to mount them so I don't really wanna mess with them until I can get some real brackets made, anyone know how much that would run me?
I'm going to cover the headliner is black swede, its going to look sweet!

well i think it looks good my car has been pretty much stock for a year now. sides the rear sways, and some very minior interior mods, jw where did you figure out how to evil the Mazda emblem lol ive been looking into that but to lazy.

I didn't research it, I just had a pic in my head and went for it.
I just chopped off the areas missing and I used a file to smooth the edges out and re-painted the badge.
I painted all my White dash pieces black and OMFG, does it look beautiful. I'm so glad to get rid of my interior white.
I still have to paint my cup holder and headliner handles but then that will be it.

I'm debating if I should just pull my dash out and paint it or if I should just get the es/mp3/msp/p5 dash
I'd paint it but I'm afraid it will be too much darker than the door panels are since they're like a dark grey and not black.
What do you guys think?

I would not paint it if I were you. It would just end up warn and scatched looking like the rest of your interior you painted. Just like what it says under your screen name "cheep out now, f#@$%*& later". I would just try and cover it with a nice quality black suede material like I showed you in those pics I posted a little while back. You might not even have to remove the whole dash to do it this way. This would be the next cheaper yet more quality option in my opinion

Have you not found any dash's at local junk yards? Just about every P5, or 3rd gen protege I have come by in my local junk yards still have the dash in them.

They way I see it, I'm going to get the dash and matching center console and MAYBE the door stills since they get touched a lot by feet and everything else will get painted or upholstered.
I'm working towards the dash and it'll either be 323's dash or a new one. A new one is going to run me 300 to 400 bucks though. ah. Oh well.

If you really want I could try to see how much a dash would be at my local junk yard and try and give ya a shipping quote? I will probably be going there anyways in the next few days to get some parts for my P5
Whoa, Justin at mazdapartswholesale.com just told me how much a new dash would be, he estimated $231.05! Thats way affordable. F*ck getting a used one or painting mine if I can get a new one for that cheap. haha.
