What have you done to your MSP today?

thought i would ask this here:

i want to run the GTSPEC front ladder bar, rear reinforcement v brace, and the rear link reinforcement panel.

I have 3 inch exhaust piping, will these components fit?

Also, with the front ladder bar, do you have to remove it everytime you change the oil (filter)?

thanks

It is? I saw the atp 7ps1 for $78, and the t25 stock replacement on protegegarage for $62. stock boost is 7psi isnt it, i thought it was but if im wrong then yes, the atp is cheaper

It's rated at 7psi but you'll see about 8-8.5psi

im curious myself, anyone know??

^ Ditto, i have these pieces but I dont have a 3" exhaust (soon though) and i change my oil filter from the top of the engine bay, i cant help ya there Jeff.....

the ladder bar does not cause a problem for changing the oil, but a 3in pipe will probably need spacers and new bolts to make it work...look back a few pages I posted a few pics with the ladder bar installed and it shows how the bar almost contacts the flex pipe on a 2.5in pipe

The "stock replacement" from protege garage actually IS the ATP wastegate (I just ordered one myself, and it shipped from ATP in CA rather than PG in IL.

OEM is about $350, and will just break again.

Very interesting! I actually haven't seen my boost anywhere near that. She spikes at about 6psi then drops to 5psi constantly. So I'm thinking my wg isn't broken, but not working to it's full potential.

I must say that after doing the FMIC, full turboback exhaust AND switching to a cheap mbc that my car has come alive. I'm seriouly freeking out!

Old setup: corksport catless exhaust/stock intercooler, piping, bpv/unichip untuned/unichip ebc.

I'm telling you the car is totally different...totally. Like a new engine was put in the thing. And the odd thing is that the fmic/exhaust made the car good, but what has made it great was the install of that mbc vs the old unichip ebc. It is such a difference. I will be dynoing soon to find out if my butt dyno is accurate, I'll keep you all posted.

You don't need to do modify anything to run GTspec bars on 3" Exhaust, just need to add some thick Washers were the V-brace attachs to the rear right Link, and in the middle of the Reinforcement panel you also need to add 2 thick washers to bring down the bars in order to clear the exhaust, here is how i did mine... front ladder bar you don't need to do anything and you'll be able to change oils as normal.

This is how it looks Installed from a rear view.. is not low enough to hit anything in the road, is very safe and found this is the best way to run these bars with a 3" exhaust.

Thank You very much man, your words are highly appreciated.. I'm still not done with it yet, I'm just waiting for 505zoom IM to raise the boost to 30 Psi and see how much more power i can get.. after that I can say I'm done with the car performance wise.. Next is to do my custom Competition Sound System, I'm going to try to fit a 6 12's system with everything custom in the trunk after that i can really say I'm fully done with my MSP.

put a cage in that SOB and start racing it lol, so do you have a scca kind for organization out there in spain????, systems are just dead weight even though you will have like 500whp so nvm that will probally not even make a differance lol.
