Seriously, can we please make some stickies in the forced induction/engine forums for bovs/intakes/and mbc. I love my mazdaspeed I really do, but the only downside is the forums. It is driving me insane that even after just over a month of being registered here that I all see are the same questions over and over:
-"which intake should i get and is cai way uber better than sri"
-"which bov should i get and net me the most pshhhh"
-"how much psi can i run"

OMG in the other 2 forums I take part in the questions would have been easily take care of by a nice sticky or start deleting this crap. Maybe an IQ test is also needed to join a forum now a days.

....Now is it just me, or am I the only one about to go insane. (bicker)

I think it happens everywhere you go.

When I first got my 08.5, there weren't alot that were on here. Then when the influx of new 08.5 owners flew in, the same questions started coming up that I had already asked or researched a long time ago. I just choose to either be helpful or try my hardest to ignore it.

I would agree that they should have some stickies with those threads lumped together. there are a ton of double thread posts. There are new ones for the same things all the time. Search is your friend. But I was new once in many forums so I've learned my lesson over time.

Someone posted something a few weeks back about having dedicated picture/videos sections, so maybe all the bov/intake stuff can go there.

yes, this is true. i can't have that. it's really nice to get opinions and s*** from other people.
the idea behind a pinned (stickied) thread is that people can and will just continue the convo. there is no need for me to reply to three ******* mbc threads when it just be one

i have never taken a car in for service. i could care less about a waranty, i do everything myself. let me put it like this

with my wrx i broke the tranny so i put a dogbox in it, i blew my turbo so i got a bigger turbo, the head unit stoped working so i took it all out and replaced it with pretty gauges, mt tmic rusted for some odd reason so i bought a fmic.

i make it bigger faster strong LOL!!

i have never taken a car in for service. i could care less about a waranty, i do everything myself. let me put it like this

with my wrx i broke the tranny so i put a dogbox in it, i blew my turbo so i got a bigger turbo, the head unit stoped working so i took it all out and replaced it with pretty gauges, mt tmic rusted for some odd reason so i bought a fmic.

So what you're saying is, you love to piss away money? Or you buy your car with the intention of upgrading any OEM component with aftermarket equipment. Sounds expensive to me and fully of never-ending tinkering. You should try the warranty some time. Its a liberating experience of course as long as its done right.

glad you dropped those played out everyone has one wrx's and got yourself an MS3. I can't stand any type of wrx, they all sound the ******* SAME! My friend disagrees with me, tho I tell him he's just in denial since he has one and thinks none of them sound the same. When they come around the corner they all sound the ******* same, grumbly/bubbly with the unattractive angle to their exhaust tip. MS3 ftw man

I bookmarked all the threads that I needed from these forums, but I guess after awhile they get deleted. I lost some really good informative threads that I still wished I had. So, yeah I think alot of posts should be made as stickies.

There were some really good posts, now they're just gone.... And yeah i agree with AAMguy. I'd rather talk to an archive than people on here...
