be careful at walmart

lesson learned...not a scratch in 1 1/2 yrs, until... yesterday i go to walmart to pick up groceries. i park well away from the madding crowd, nose to nose w/ a new suv. when i came back, the suv was gone but their cart wasn't...guess they let it roll down the incline and it kissed my front bumper. (argh)(gun) hardly noticeable, but the point is: walmart parking lots are very unfriendly places, it seems. looking back, i have no one but myself to blame. eons ago, when i was the proud owner of a Honda CRX Si, i also parked in a wally world lot, and someone was kind enough to ram a cart into the driver's door.

there's just something about people, grocery carts, and walmart that doesn't mix well together. i don't know if some people are envious of a nice shiny red car, if they're just plain old assholes, or if they're in a hurry, but from now on i'm giving my business to the local grocery store and if i ever go to wmt again, i'll park so far away i'll need gps just to locate the car. the rest of you look out and learn from my misfortune. thanx for letting me rant.

I think it is as simple as people just not giving a s*** about anything or anyone else besides themselves. They live life as if they're the only ones on the planet and it's your fault for parking your car so close to theirs. I bet there was even one of those cart coral's less than 50 feet away too, right? Fat asses don't want to go too far out of their way to do the right thing. I think they should bring all stupid people to an island and nuke the mofo. lol Ok, my rant is over now also.

Was at the laundry mat lastnight with both cars parked nose to nose. 2 kids grabbed shopping carts and decided to start smashing them into eachother headon right beside the cars and their mom just sat in the car on teh phone. After 2 hits, i went to go yell at em but thier mom finally got out and threw em into the car. Had they hit either car, things woulda gotten ugly.

And I agree about Walmart parking lot sucking.

My wife worked in an office building that was shared with Social Services. People who suckle the government teet take great pride in bouncing the doors of their 1987 grand marquis with 2 hubcaps off my wife's 325i. It was as if they chased her around the lot to do it. **** PEOPLE who don't respect other's property. That rates up there with stealing IMO.

When I lived in DC for a year, both of my bumpers had so many dimples from people "parking by feel" that I would yell "fore!" out the window when passing by pedestrians.

The first day I had new wheels on my P5, we went to Walmart and had a huge gash down the passenger side like someone had pressed a cart as hard as they could against my car. My wife's CX7 has a mark from what I can only think of as some fat ass's belt buckle that scraped as he/she squeezed 350 lbs of red neck keester through to their '89 Silverado after what many consider a night out at "The Walmart."

Went to college in DC for almost 6 years.... I have had so many hits and dings it's unbelievable.... that and I got rear ended by a van doing 65mph when I was stopped. Ambulance took me to the hospital when the cops showed up.... WHO NEVER TOOK THE OTHER PERSON'S INFORMATION!! I was out a car, up to my ass in medical bills, and no one to sue!
