What have you done to your MSP today?

put some new plugs in last night, Autolite 5224, gapped them to .030. they're pretty nice, copper, extended length. the stock plugs were still in there and i'm at 76k. there was basically a pointy triangle left on each one for spark, unless that how the stock plugs look. no redness, no spots, just a little black on each one.

tonight is the maf cleaning and tomorrow the oil change.

.... Does anyone do anything to prevent that dash to rattle because of motor mounts? I don't mind the vibration but the area where my desk is rattle so hard, mostly when starting in first or low rpm.... (dunno)

I had AWR 88A front and rear mounts so a decent amount of vibrations. Most of the vibrating will always be there but if you get some troublesome rattles try hitting the dash a couple times and that might help occasionally.(smoke)

Sorry for the crappy pics , but its the middle of the day in Florida which is a bad time to take pics. Its slow at work so I've had time to clean her up nicely. I''m really digging the wingless style, now I can actually see out of my rear view mirror.(thumb)

I will try and take some more sometime later on this week when the lighting is better.

were there holes on the trunk when u removed the spoiler?

^^I was wondering the same thing. I thought u patched up the holes and painted it urself. I was blowin away on how good u did it. Now i see that u got another trunk. Looks Damn Good.

Hi There, People i need some help here,, I need Part Numbers for these parts i need, i can't get in touch with KEN, is so damn hard, and i need these parts ASAP.

PG 626 Intake Manifold Gasket, ( 2 )

PG 626 Intake Manifold EGR Valve Gasket ( 2 )

PG 626 Intake Manifold Throttle Body Gasket ( 2 )

PG 626 Intake Manifold Brace that holds the manifold to the Block ( 1 )
along with the Bolts to attach the manifold to the brace and to the engine block

Mazda Protg OEM White Plastic Coolant Can ( Mine Broke in Half )

I need to buy 2 of every gasket needed in the Intake Manifold, since i can't find them here in Spain

Why I said PG 626 Intake Manifold because i bought it from them, and i don't know what year or model that intake manifold is..

^^^ The gaskets are all the same for the regular Protege IM, or at least that's what I got and I've had no problems. I don't know if the 626 IM brace will help but you could always just get a Protege IM brace and use washers to space it out some. That is what I did and no problems here (needed about 1/4" spacers on the bottom of the bracket).

Found a nail in the tire and had the wife get it fixed. They guy fixing the car had all kinds of questions, and would not belive that it came from the factory with a turbo.

the holes in mine were welded, bondoed, and painted. I shaved the holes from under the MS badge as well.

even though they don't have the car, which they should have had the 323 since I have seen them in Slovakia even, being a Mazda dealer they should still be able to order them for you.

I gave them my bin number, and they called Mazda in Madrid which is where they have everything and where they car order anything, and they didn't find anything according to them there are no mazda registered or made by that Bin number,..Just freaking ridiculous, i know they have the 323F 2.0 Liter with 130 HP but according to them, the parts have to be for the same exact, model, year and engine type.. bro these people in here are so damn stupid, they are like 400 years behind..

i asked them how much was the gaskets for a similar angine and they told me around 90 Euros... they got to be smoking crack....

That is rediculus. I always sadi that if we moved to Slovakia (my wife's home) that I'd have to open a real tuning company and I'd try to stay in the Mazda Realm. Since I know how to get parts here I'd be able to help out people all over Europe possibly.

I swear man if it wasn't that you need to pay for everything you add to your car to pass ******* inspection i'll be putting a HiPerformance shop here and import hardcore parts. people in here are in damn diapers still when it comes to Hi Performance..

Wow, I have AWR MM 70a Tranny, Front and Rear, and SLS Passenger, and i barely Notice any vibrations, oh and also i have the Weapon R Engine Damper. i love how the car feels with all of the motor mounts.. no wheel hop... you feel like that because you went the the stiff ones.. i went 70 instead of 88..

Man, I will second that. The Weapon-R engine damper has worked out great. It really quelled the vibrations and eliminated my underhood & dash rattles. Thanks for answering my questions about it. I'm glad I got it. At first, the $170 shipped cost seemed a bit high, but the car is much more enjoyable with the reduction of vibrations, the elimination of the rattles, and the firmer shifts due to little or no engine movement. Totally worth it (to me, anyway).

Man That's awesome to hear, i told you bro, that little Damper is the damn bomb, and it does stop the vibrations, i get 0, and i have stiffer Motor mounts all around and the car just feels like no other.. i was lucky i bought my Engine Damper from a member almost new for $ 70 but even if i had to pay the other extra 100 bucks it costs, i will do it with my eyes closed..I really Recommend this little mod to anybody that owns a Protg, the results and just priceless...
