[Prodigy's Race Protege Project]

Damn you devoured that white protege. Ive never seen anything like that before. Im curious to see whats next.

The brown interior! (second)

All of my neighbors were at work.... but I'm sure the passerbys didn't think too highly of it.
(I live on a main road)

There were almost 2 car wrecks during the day when someone would slow down to see what was going on.

They were to busy trying to see if you was running a real live chop shop! (rofl)

any updates Chris?
Yep, your car is now a 1.6L automatic and driving... (gossip)
I'm waiting on my parents to rent one of those carpet vacuums before I put the interior back in. (pics to follow)
Here's the pics finally.

Proof that it's pretty damn hard to find a replacement open-diff for a 99 F25M-R transmission

Sweet! I'm glad you're getting good use out of her. You planning on selling it? Or just driving it until you've completed the parts changeover from your LX to your race car?

I'll be driving it for a good little bit while I part the red one out.
Sell the red one. Buy a miata as a DD. Then possibly sell/give your ES to my little brother as a first car.
The problem at the moment is finding a stock G15M-R trans for the red protege for the stock reversion. (I wanna keep the Quaife + cryo'd gears)

I'm trying to find a local place that sells UV treated MR10 lexan in large sizes for the race car but it looks like I might have to order some online.
The manual to auto swap was fun..... every single wire in the car had to be swapped out with the 1.6L harness.

Have you tried Piedmont Plastics, they tend to be the go-to guys when it comes to weird plastics, and they usually sell to individuals.

Are you Russian? Why are you advertising "babushka" motorsports?

I'll have to give them a call to see how their prices compare to professionalplastics.com.
Thanks Chollie!
Just about.(drinks)
It took 3 days working from 10am-10pm in hotlanta's wonderful heat.
Thanks again, you'll definitely have a co-driver spot available to you whenever the car is built.

My girlfriend is russian so I've learned quite a bit.
babushka = grandmother = slow = ironic name for my motorsports team

I'm just glad ole' Blanche is getting to live on for a better purpose.

I'll be taking you up on that co-drive offer when the car is done too.

Yes, I recognized the irony. I was just wondering how you came up w/ it. Now I know. (iagree)

Nice shots Ms Pro Driver.
Let me know if you have any race related parts for sale if the protege goes into full retirement.
