Feedback after 2 full tanks of 89 in my MS3

All points well taken. Anyway, I am out to happy and hour and a fine looking blonde. Everyone have a great weekend!

Enjoy your blonde, I recommend for her Sex On The Beach (the drink pervs!!!)

Sylvester Voice "Suffering SUCCATASH, I WAS JUST SHAYING" SHEESH!

I even put it in my comment about the "E" light coming on... of course I know its common sense...

That is good to know that the "E" light comes on with approxmiately 3-4 gallons of dino fuel...

By the way, from about AZ to CA(braindead...I believe 91 octane is the premiums of dino juice there is... once you hit up New Mexico and go east, it goes to 93..bummer 93 isn't used in Cali...that sux... lol

LOL I understand you were just saying, so was I

and yeah I feel for you, it really sucks that California and Arizona are like that...... and my buddy wants me to come move out there and work for his Computer firm....... PFFFT. Not without 93 octane :P

well iv been told to add 5 ounces of atf with a full tank of gas so it can clean out the fuel lines since the detergents will help clean it out . also im pretty sure the ecu will record any knocking or irregularities that happen inside the engine

You sir has been misinformed, and it was typically used for carburetors, I would laugh at anyone stupid enough to pour tranny fluid in their tank.(braindead

Once upon a long time ago it was semi-common practice to slowly pour ATF down the carburetor while running the engine at about 2500-3000 rpm. All this did was super heat the combustion chamber for a short time which would help to break up carbon deposits and potentially lubricate the intake valve guides. While it was never the right thing to do, it was used by shadetrees and occasionally professionals alike to get a bit more life out of an engine before it had to be disassembled and decoked.

Running ATF in any amount in a modern cars gas tank is not only idiotic, it is also unnecessary and counter productive. Due to modern engine management and unleaded gas, even most poorly maintained engines will not have that much noticeable carbon deposit, at well over 150k miles. In addition to that, continually running ATF through the engine will cause the PCM to flag potentially several DTC's along with rapidly destroying the O2 sensors and the catalytic converter(s).

I will destroy you...... the only thing that will be left of you are your SHOES, with your feet still in them. Better go get your s*** toe-printed

and yes I did read it...... from an educated source, HENCE I put it in a quote, because it is not a writing of my own in my own words.

my shoe size is 16 (pullup)

For me it's simple. The car was designed to run on premium fuel (91 or higher octane) and so that's what I put in it.

Dude your avatar....... LMFAO that s*** is HUGE!

I will never put less than 93 octane in this car (I live in East Coast so it's not a problem) If for whatever reason I have to use 91 (like the few states, CA and AZ) I'm most likely going to try and find a "Race gas" place, if I can't THEN I'll succumb to using 91 octane.

You sir have wasted everybodies time and forum space with you vague and very not so conclusive "experiment" you could have just said: hey i ran 2 full tanks of 89 and my car didn't blow up, dee dee dee." But i'm the lousy scientist. Prolly wouldn't last in your class because i'd call you on your bulls***. What information do you want? Besides the fact that everyone else on here agrees with my original statement: The vehicle calls for premium unleaded only and thats what it gets. That lower octane fuel gives more probability to know/detonation under higher heat and pressure ie:boost? I;m not worth listening to yet you still feel the need to quote my every post and try to prove your useless test as a success.(braindead

I have grown tired of asking you for the same information over and over. I am also tired of stating my conclusions that both agree and disagree with some of the things you have said. I suggest you take a reading comprehension course. As I know this post is wasted as well... I will just say, sure... whatever you say dude. You da' man!

You're a crook! You're a cheat and a swindler! How could you do a thing like this?!

On a sidenote i never knew of the vast differences in the sport compared to the gt, interesting. I don;t think there is that much difference between the ms6 sport and gt.

Here you go scroll halfway down theres your proof, other than what your manual says, what the inside of you fuel door and EVERYONE on here has told you. Have a nice life, and i truly do hope you and your speed experience no ill effects, cause while u and i disagree, i do not support hatred on other mazda brethren's vehicles. Happy motoring.

I am no more of a fan of hate either. None on my end for sure. Happy motoring to you as well.

And on a side note, I think I may run another 1000 miles on 89... just to see what happens...

you know there are better things to do then waste your engines life with a test about there being no difference in octane

I know... I know.... I was kidding. Two tanks was enough to see there wasn't a big enough difference.

lol i felt the sarcasm and had to step in nothing personal , but i guess it gets under some of our skins when we see people not take care of there mazda's good
