Mazda Tariffs?

I bought a new CX-5 at the end of August. With this CX-5 being manufactured in Japan, did I pay these extra tariffs that are in the news? The prices for the CX-5 seemed comparable (less actually) to the American made CX-50. The information online is mixed. It wasn’t a concern, because I wanted to get a CX-5 turbo while they are still available. But now I'm curious how Mazda dealers are advertising their inventory isn’t affected by new tariffs, but online searches indicate the opposite.

Not yet. Inventory already in the U.S. = no tariff.

Inventory not yet in the U.S. = Mazda will eat the tariffs for now.

But don't take that for granted. Even U.S. automakers are being shaken down for billions right now. Do not expect that to last long without the customer paying for it.
