Feedback after 2 full tanks of 89 in my MS3

Don't you know 93 is like 10 cents more than 89. You're gonna blow up your car.

Does anyone know how to get the stereo to play MP3 CDs or know if a CAI will void my warranty?

Will I beat an STI in a race if both driver's are =?

As always SwampAss, you sir, crack me the hell up!
(lol2)

lmfao @ swamp gas.

yeah we knew it's $1.80 per tank

you haz to buyz speeshul mp3 stereo, yes it will

no you won't

(rofl) ;)

I usually run a mix of 93, peanut butter and vinegar through my tank. 60% of the time, it works everytime.

lmfao @ 60% of the time it works everytime....... I LOVE that s***....... HAHAHAHA

(rofl)

93 octane is illegal in nine countries... So you know it is good.

And it has a formidable scent... Stings the nostrils..... in a good way...

....and to be honest with you... It smells like pure gasoline.

Thanks for the experiment!

It's good to know that a couple of tanks of 89 octane fuel do no apparent/short term damage to the car. If I'm ever on a road trip and can't get premium I'll feel at ease knowing that I can do 1 tank or 2 and the engine won't melt or something (at least when I'm traveling in the US, over here in MX I'll avoid regular 87 oct gas like the plague).

What kind of oil do you use? I like to give my speed6 Purple Royal, they carry it at the walmarts by me (nana)
yep and redline tranny, it is crazy that mileage has gone up on all the cars I have used rp on. They start softer and rev smoother. Mine is at 26k or so and all is well. I am sure other full synth oil will help out and without any reliability issues

100 octane gas ?? from the gas station ? HA
Delta Sonic carries it at two stations I am aware of, but not the one I get my car washed at . Go figure. I will take a picture if you like of the pump. It was 5.99 per last time I used it before track time. I really cannot take advantage though as I am not tuning yet. Just for fun.

Yes, if you look in your owners manual it states the same thing. I must be lost... What was the point in this "experiment'?

Come on now.... You know by now.... (deadhorse

Your next experiment should be to fill the crankcase with half the oil so you can save $8 dollars.

Just because you didn't hear knocking or detination, it doesn't mean it wasn't happening. Hook up a dash hawk and log your runs, I'm curious if cheaping out $2 on a tank of gas is worth it to end your motors life early.

It's not about cheaping out $2 on a tank of gas.
