well, first of all. i am not sitting here saying that my p5 is a sports car. it is a sport compact. also, i drive an rx7 turbo II as my sports car. i would suggest to all of you that think you are driving a sports car; first, go and drive a real sports car and see what it feels like. second, get out of your ricer mentality because that's all that this is. you are a generation of car owners ruined by Fast and the Furious.
and about the track comment, how do you hit corners so well when you are torque steering? the car doesn't make a good drag racer because of the fact that it has traction problems.
i corrected your grammar for you as well. for rule of thumb next time, if you can replace whom with him, you used it correctly. if you cannot, it requires a who, not whom.
Bordeline Fanboism going down here...
American Heritage Dictionary - sports car
n. An automobile equipped for racing, especially an aerodynamically shaped one-passenger or two-passenger vehicle having a low center of gravity and steering and suspension designed for precise control at high speeds.
5 passengers and trunk space = not a sports car
OmG OnZ! I used incorrect grammar on a motor head forum!!! Sorry buddy but that was a feeble attempt at you trying to look smart on the internets. I make typos all the damn time as do most ppl on here. Are you going to go around and correct everyone's typo's now?? Are do you only to it for people that disagree with you? By the way, the first letter of a sentence is capitalized! Oh fail!!!
Your feeble attempt at a comeback is fail. Epic style.
Have at least a little pride, "Are do you only to it..."? wtf?
Again, guys:
1. built on 5 door hatch back family car platform
2. has hooks for baby seats in the back
3. has built in attachments for a roof rack
4. can be equipped with tow hitch
5. cargo nets
This isn't a sports car. It's fast, it's fun, and that's more than enough. It doesn't need some stupid label.
you are a generation of car owners ruined by Fast and the Furious.
Way to make generalizations. I think it's safe to say that MS3 owners cover many generations of people, obviously. Telling people that they're ignorant and need to go drive a REAL race car isn't gonna make you any friends. If you've got beef with Ghost, so be it. Leave us out of it please.

whew, im glad the original question was not, "whats the best beer?"
Considering how good the MS3 is, I think Mazda would be wise to lift the engine and suspension from it and place it in a RWD 2-door coupe. The MX-5 is the curring place-holder for the 'sports car' title at Mazda, but they need a hardtop as well (IMO).
