How much of an improvement is a BPV?

I'm looking into a Forge BPV for a MS3 with a CAI and a soon-to-be race pipe. With this amount of modding, will a BPV actually give improvements in performance, or should I just keep my money? Or, is there something else I should look into??

Thanks!

I got the cobb intake and Im actually also thinking about Forge BPV I heard it holds boost better and will only make a diffrence if the stocker is leaking.

I think next mod on my list is the aeroforce gauge and then a testpipe.

If, and only if, your stocker is leaking, will you see an improvement in performance. How much of a performance increase is directly related to the amount the stocker is leaking.

I am convinced that mine is leaking, and it is is my next mod. I am going with a pull type BPV, however, like the HKS or the Synapse. I just don't like the idea of springs.

I just installed the SU test pipe and I couldn't be happier. I love the sound and there is a nice little low end power increase. Great mod.

If you're looking at a BPV, the HKS SSQV is what I'd recommend. Get the bolt-on specific kit from Protege garage and its really easy to install. Also, like the previous poster said, it's a pull-type valve, which is a lot less prone to leaking than some other kinds.

If you cannot data log your boost then wait. if you are not having issues maintaining boost, you should be fine at this point in the game i think.
