Added more oil... Argh, this is getting to be annoying. I wish I had more money so I could actually buy a compression tester (and maybe leakdown tester) so I could try to figure out what's wrong. She still runs just fine; just have to ignore the smoke at times (boom03)

I keep forgetting all about them and there's literally one right down the street! Now if only I had an air compressor. Definitely should have stolen my dad's before I moved out, LOL. Might just have to swing by today.

Well, twas a good weekend for the P5.
On Saturday she got some new tires put on. Kuhmo Ecsta ASTs. Couldnt beat the deal. Only ran me $320 out the door.
Then on Sunday I pulled all the speakers, rewired the hack job somebody did and ran new speaker wire for all 5 doors.
Luckily the person before us didnt cut the stock harnes, there was an aftermarket harnes plugged in.
So I installed the MSP front door speakers and tweeters and our new Kenwood HU. and it sounds awesome! So much better and so nice to have all 4 speakers working.

So, where exactly does this fit in? I see nothing about what you have done to your Pro5. lol. Gauntlet has been thrown!
As to mine, still trying to figure out what speakers to put in the front doors since my stock tweeter is crackling.
Also, still waiting on my AWR side mount inserts to show.

Tried on new, shorter user name. Felt good.
P5 is now in the garage. Haven't bothered washing the mud and bajillion bugs off the nose from my cross-country trek last week due to this: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USTX0413.html... At least it's not 110 anymore (of course I'm done moving boxes).

pulled the code P0442 EVAP system. So most likely the gas cap cuz I got gas on saturday. I guess it should clear itself out eh?

try taking off the gas cap, put it back on, make sure it clicks at LEAST 3 times, and re-set the ECU. I think Jeffrey (sp? whiteseattlemp5) had that happen a while back and this fixed it.

yuh, I took it off and re-installed it. just didnt reset the ECu.... I dont feel like re-doing all the damn settings on the new HU, where the hell is the fuse for the ECU so i dont have to pull the battery terminal....lol
lol! I didn't realize you could pull the fuse for the ECU and not kill the rest of the car! Taylor, please let me know which one it is, cause, my HU is a PITA to reset too! Especially with as often as I've been putting new parts on. lol
Also, to keep it on topic, waiting to hear from the seller of a Wagner Shorty header and starting to save $$$ again for Projector Retrofit for the headlights again. Hopefully this time the deal will actually go through and I will have something to show for the money I spend
