Well Swampy always enjoys my misguided antics, so this is for you buddy.
With the constant heat here in AZ and my front mount still being built, i thought i would do something to entertain myself for the weekend and build a water sprayer for my top mount. Picked up all the stuff at Autozone and Ace Hardware. It looks ghetto because i messed up the paint, but it really does work. Usually after a spirited romp my top mount is hot to the touch. With this its ice cold. More so when i use ice as you might imagine.... Anyway I just used a back porch mister setup, a 12 universal wiper pump, a toggle and a generic reservoir.
This wasnt gonna go on there.....sooooooooo.....
This tip did the job quick like.
This is were i mounted the pump and the res is just zip tied.
This is where things went horribly wrong. I had to do more bending and cutting and all the paint chipped off making it look a like a bag of ass. Oh well.
The switch looks good though, and when i take it out the ashtray will cover the hole.
I just zipped tied it down.
Again, i know it looks horrible, but it works and is a noticeable difference when the temps climb. Ice in the res helps even more. I doesn't leak to the ground because its a mist and evaporates before it gets that far so i was able to use it at the track. In these pictures the hose is kinked, it make a mist just like it you would expect.
