What have you done to your P5 today?

I got my car back! One of our local guys was using it b/c he put a hole in his trans.... I haven't seen 'er in almost 2 weeks. On the plus side, I had him replace my fog light bulbs while he had it. Yellow overlays + yellow bulbs = some srsly yellow light. Looks cool :D

I'm actually glad that I don't have to drive the race car around any more. I was a hair from getting pulled over tonight. I made an agressive pass on some dweeb taking a corner at about 4 miles per hour after it opened up to 2 lanes and accellerated right up to the speed limit. Apparently some cop saw said maneuver and rolled up on me with a quickness. He got right next to me, gave me a dirty look, then went along his business lol. *phew* I saw him coming and had the "well, I guess 4 years without a ticket's not too bad" thought haha

What size tire would I need to make a 42mm offset rim work? I checked out the fitement guide thread and it didn't make much sense to me.
On a 7.5" wide wheel maybe a 205 series will work with a +42 mm offset. From the tire fitment guide I get this:

for a 7.5" wide wheel:

205 series:
+45 mm may or may not rub depending on tire and suspension
+48 mm will not rub

215 series:
+45 mm offset may or may not rub depending on tire and suspension (more likely)
+48 mm should not rub

With a 7" wide you can probably get a little more wiggle room but I wouldn't push it. I'm planning on runng a 16x7 wheel with +46 mm offset with either a 215/45 or 225/45 series tire. The 215/45 tires should work no problem but the 225/45 will probably require some decent negative camber and possibly some fender rolling.

Where to in VA!!!??!?!!?!

Movin' back to NoVA! We'll be bunking with my in-laws, then some friends, then a rental, and when my wife gets past the bar exam and/or lands a job, we'll buy a house. I can't wait for that last phase, I'm already annoyed that all my stuff is packed up!

it was late when i washed my car so i didnt get any whole car shots. ill do so tomorrow probably. and i highly recommend ONR if you live in an apartment building, or in an area with water restrictions. 1 oz of ONR to 2 gallons of water is plenty to wash a p5.

my dad to my p5 to his work. heh he likes my car but he dont like the stiffness LOL..he keeps asking me if the shocks are worn.

I like how as soon as I leave VA everyone else starts popping up and moving in. Oh well, I'm sure there's plenty of P5'ers in OH...

what the bad thing is when i had my last car i went down to see her and on the drive home that engine blew up to im thinkin its a sign of needing to stay away

In Newport News? HA!

I'll be hitting up the NoVA events.

...As for Andrew's crack about never seeing me... in VA, I'll have family to dump the kid with from time to time. Down here, we were busy as hell with school, and had no one to fall back on. Frankly, that last part is why we're going back to VA!
