who is never buying mazda again?

DId you try pursuing the lemon law? And what was bad with MAC?

I wont be buying another mazda. 1. Because my Protege 5 has been a piece of s***. 2. The dealers around the area are horrible. 3. Mazda American Credit

Problems with my protege 5:
1. Engine replacement short block-- spun bearing
2. Alarm system went out.. couldnt start the car
3. air conditioner went out had to replace the compressor
4. Engine replacement 2 Long block. -- spun bearing
5. Heater went out had to replace the heating unit
6. AC and Heater control panel had to be replaced do to shorts.

All that has been under warranty.

7. Wheel bearings front right x4
8. Hub and wheel bearing replacement
9. Just now my right front strut went out.

Just a heap of s*** my car with 80803 miles on the clock. And I drive like a granny.

He's spun two bearings in the car. How well do you think it was driven or taken care of? Seriously this is not even close to being a common problem.

from the beverly hillbillies?

I won't be buying a mazda here locally. That's for sure. The manager was a real prick and didn't want to work with me or my wife. We ended up going up to San Antonio to Ingram Park where they had a multiplex. My wife saw a nice purplish 3, but we ended up getting a salesman from the Nissan building. He talked down to the Mazda, saying that ever since they merged with Ford they haven't been as good. We ended up buying a Sentra. They had better incentives and the guys really helped us out. I was surprised. I'm definitely going up north more often to buy cars from now out. All the dealers down here suck.

i can't complain... i had a 323 that made it to about 250k with no major problems (till it died) and my P5 is approaching 130k with nothing all that serious, except for the from wheel bearings.

I still have my old 91 Protege. 312,000km and going. Of course it burns oil like a mofo, but the engine still goes. The auto tranny is getting weaker though. It's not changing gears as smoothly anymore and I probably have a a few things to change on it. Just got a new alternator and battery. I'm going to be driving this in the winter from now on. The msp can be the summer car from now on.

Who is never buying a mazda again so who won't be seen driving another one. Which drives a Toyota & where drives a Kia. When is a biker. However is on foot.

I was thinking the same thing. I wounder how many engines he would of went through with a rx7/8..
The same amount, he just wouldn't have gone as far. lol. Who knows, he might have actually cared about it enough to maintain it if he had had one of those........nah, just a punked motor sooner.

i've owned two rx-7s, one protege5, one mazda3, one 626, one mazda5 and convinced my sister and sister in law both to buy a mazda6 with the 2.3 liter, and my brother owns a mazdaspeed miata. honestly they've all been great cars. my wife traded her neon for the mazda3 and she will never go back, and she comes from a "be american/buy american" upbringing so to speak. my sister is thinking of upgrading to a cx-9 and even my domestic loving parents have been eying one.

i would buy a mazda, but probably not a mazdaspeed vehicle. there have been more TSBs and pithy issues with the ms3 and ms6 in a year than what the standard 3 has had in four years. plus all the issues with the msp ... as much as i like those cars, i don't think i could own one.

I'm pretty much right there with you. I own a P5 which has been super reliable (if underpowered) and I love it. My wife owns a protege which has given us no headaches despite over 100K on the odo. Only thing that went bad was door lock actuator and we bought a new one from a forum member for a great price.

But even though I like the mazdaspeed vechicles, I'm not sold on their reliability yet. Too many little things going wrong to make me feel comfortable owning one especially if the warranty runs out because I keep my cars long after warranty is gone. My wife is looking at a V6 mazda6 for her next car and I have my eye on a Pontiac G8

Well another reason I hate this ******* forum. Asshats who dont even know me think because ive had 2 spun bearings that it is the drivers fault. I change oil regularly and I always drive slow. So yeah. **** YOU ALL!!!!!
