Well, it seem like the insurance companies are starting to catch on about our Speed3's. I received my new statement today for the next 6 months and it is $150 higher than my last one. All of it on my Speed 3 too.

FYI, I'm 40, 2 kids, no tickets for something like 15 years and no accidents or claims for a very, very long time.

Either that or it's all you young whippersnappers setting a bad example for us older folks!(hand)

Which insurance company are you using?

When I first bought my car and got insurance progressive stated it has the same symbol as a camaro or mustang v8 would receive... My rates havent gone up.

I was amazed that my insurance was only like $80 more per 6 months versus the old 2004 Toyota Matrix I traded in for it! Maybe the insurance companies "haven't" quite caught on yet. I know when I had my STi I was getting *****. I was 28 and had no prior accidents or tickets on my record.

Only thing my insurance agent said (AAA) is "wow thats going to be a couple hundred more than your Integra" so I dont know if thats a bad thing. It was still less than a quarter of what geico wanted to charge me, stupid little gecko.

I have Geico insurance and I pay $123 with two tickets on my license. I am also 30 y/o and have good credit though. This is on a MS3 GT.

Maybe you just need to switch to a new company.

My premium jumped $120 per year, but it may be due to the collision I had with a tire laying in the middle of the road. I'm right at $1200 per year now. My agent said something about a company-wide hike, so I don't think the accident did it to me. I'm supposed to have 'accident forgiveness' at Allstate.

I'm not too much higher than that but I'm only 22, no tickets, with good credit and a MS3 Sport. I guess its to be expected for my age though. Damn being a whippersnapper.

on my last statement, my insurance went up on my beater pickup but stayed the same on my ms3, go figure....

When I went from my 2005 Nissan Frontier to 2008 MS3 GT, my insurance went up about $300/year. I received a letter from my insurance company stating that due to horsepower-to-curb-weight ratio, typically they would not even cover the car. But since I am an existing customer and had my home owners policy with them, they made an exception.

Believe it or not, I'm paying about the same for almost no coverage on my old 2-door 96 Integra, to my full coverage 08 MS3. I'm paying about $650/6months.

Small world, I went from an Fronty crew to the MS3! My rates were going to go up more, but my wife and I finally got our policies together and I shopped. It ended up saving us about $500. If I would have kept it seperate, it would def have gone up. We pay about $140/mo for two cars.

$130 a month with AIG

when I first got the car, it was only $100. Then a couple months back, they upped it. no tickets
