TRZ or street unit dog bone mount

I'm a little torn on which one to get. TRZ says they're the best but of course everyone is going to say that about their company. My friend has the TRZ mount with the race bushing in his car and it's 6 months old now and it vibrates something horrible. i really don't want serious vibration i've had enough of that from my honda days with my engine swaps i had with solid mounts. BUT the street unit is a two piece which they say helps reduce vibration and is better then a one piece mount. I'm going to get the race bushing 90a i believe no matter which one i get cause it's pointless to get the softer one but since i'm getting the stiffer bushing is it going to matter which one i get. I know alot of poeple on here are running the trz but anyone running the street unit ?

For the win.

Poly is great when it's above about 50 degrees under that my car vibrates like a mofo. But above 50 it's great!

Well i just called protege garage and ordered my mount, i got the TRZ mount with the 90A race bushing. i'll have it tomorrow. WOW next day shipping was only thirty dollars. everything i've gotten for my car so far well i've only bought two things my intake and BOV i've got from street unit they're good but they **** me on shipping for over night. for their motor mount over nighted next day was $67. twice as much as protege garage. NICE. can't wait till tomorrow so friday night and i can goto test and tune and run my car. i was there this sunday but knew there was no reason to race my car with the stock motor mount cause it was just going to wheel hop. my friend has the TRZ mount in his car so i know how it'll feel. Thanks Tru Boost for the heads up info on that mount.

I'm glad someone said that. I wasn't sure if it was just perceived that my car was so much smoother when it was warmer or the mount actually vibrated less.

I was wondering why people were saying f the world alot thanks. and good luck jay, Report back please, I need to make a decision soon about MMs.

I just installed the SU rear mount over the weekend and its seems to not vibrate like i heard others mention..the wheel hop is less for sure than stock..i was kinda sceptic about the 2 piece but its seems to be well put together..

i saw this order today, thank you for your business. we dropped it off with UPS for next day shipping, let me know when you get it and how you like it.

I got it yesterday just as protege garage promised. They were very nice and cool people to deal with over the phone and i will continue to deal with them in the future. i installed it late yesterday and love the way my car feels now. before when i shift hard or race it felt like the whole front of the car was moving. now everythign feels nice and rock hard. It does vibrate alot but big deal i knew that when i bought it and anyone who complains is stupid and doesn't know what they doing. i've owned cars with motor swaps in the past where all three or four mounts where polyurathane mount kits and they vibrated alot worse then this. it should calm down in a couple months when everything settles. i'm going back to the track this sunday to enjoy launching and driving with minimal wheel hop. protege garage rocks. thanks

glad you are happy sir ! look for the new side mounts from TRZ soon too. the lower mount is great, but the stock side mounts are super weak. there have been several broken driverside mounts and even a passenger side mount failure recently !

i just talked to mike these past few days and it seems like they are knee deep into making these. very exciting stuff.

Its because we come from a different time/community?

I got the poly mount and love it. After the 1st 1000 miles, vibes are at a minimum and shifting is greatly improved.
