Yeah you just gotta launch at around 2900rpm and feed out the clutch. It's kinda tricky, takes practice. Don't worry so much about your R/T, just focus on a good Launch. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the R/T has anything to do with your 1/4 time. Now, if your just trying to beat the other guy to the line of course.
11.1 in the 1000 is def 13.2ish-3ish
OK, I know this is 1/4 mile only so I apologize in advance for my post. Anyway, the only thing we have in our beloved state is 1000 ft track (I know, sad......). Anyway, I was curious what my 1000 ft time would equate to in the 1/4 mile (ballpark). My only mods were I/BOV/MM.
My time was 11.15 @ 95 mph. Anyone have a slip that is close to this so I can get an idea? I do plan on taking a roadtrip to an actual 1/4 mile track in spring. This time was with stock wheels and tires set at approx. 27psi. Can't wait to get my TBE on![]()
27psi???
Since I drive it to the track, I don't really feel comfortable going much less than that, considering I have to drive it home. Debeading the tires would really suck........
