Turbine Tech Front Engine Mount

cp-e and awr dont make front mounts they make rear mounts.

Yeah I got that part mixed up.... I was actually at the turbinetech site reading about their front mount when I posted that..... then after I finished reading the site I realized it's a different mount on the engine, especially after the part where they mention the rear engine mount in their "description". Thanks for correcting me.

Yeah I was wondering about that, I believe I read on the site that they claimed their mounts don't add vibration?

Well I got the AWR mount and can tell a difference there, especially at low RPM with the clutch engaged. Other than that, you wouldn't have a clue if you didn't own the car. Definitely waiting for my bonus check to get this come May or June.

Yeah I've read people have had or noticed extra vibration with the AWR or the CP-E..... which AWR do you have? the 70 durometer or the 88? I was considering the 88, being that it's stiffer.

Now I'm at a serious dilemma.... wheels or this.... I'm gonna have to take some time to really think about this (cause I hate these ugly ass stockers, but I would love to not worry about my rear differential)

I'm pretty sure its the 88, it was bought by another member who bought it back when there was only one durometer available. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for the price.

If I were you, I'd def. go the diff mount route. The wheels aren't gonna break, but you're diff. just might.

i have the 88 durometer awr and there isn't that much vibration. my car is at the shop getting the diff mount and bushings installed. we had everthing installed tonight but my installer had to leave before we could put it all back together so i am picking it up in the morning.

so you like the stiffer one? (the 88)? I don't want too soft cause I don't want the engine moving around too much to be bumping the firewall.

I can feel it kinda bang on the firewall during hard launches/shifts.

I don't notice any extra vibration at idle or cruise after installing all the turbine tech parts(front mount, front diff mount, rear diff bushings)-It actually feels a little smoother at idle(I have the CP-E rear mount). I do howerever get a little more vibration in reverse...

Adding the turbine tech front mount will definatly stop that..

I just had the front engine mount, front rear diff mount, and rear diff mount bushings upgraded with the kit from turbine tech. I've only driven it for about 15 minutes, but I can already tell a HUGE improvement in shifting. The car feels more planted during shifts. No more clunking or lurching during high RPM 1-2-3 shifts. At warm idle, there is moderate vibration... not too bad really. At speed, there is no additional vibration.

BTW I had my car dyno'ed while it was in the shop. Aside from the mounts, it is totally stock and it got up to 243 AWHP. Not sure what the next mod will be... maybe exhaust.

Sweet.......... would you say it's overkill if I were to get the AWR rear engine mount additionally, after installing the full kit from TurbineTech? or would you say it'll be even more of an improvement?

i'll be installing the turbine tech stuff as soon as i get my turbo replaced, i already have the 88 awr. i dont think it will be overkill.

do you have the dyno sheet to show us?

also to the guy who got his mounts done and dyno'ed what did you dyno previous to having the mounts?
