Yes, sometimes you need more space and an extra set of doors can be very handy, but comes at a price. Regardless, open question, What is wrong with this picture? (wow). Mazda5, watch out! (yes, but of been run over by one)

We've seen some outrageous F-650-based vehicles like this before (the DeBerti for one), but for some reason, the Alton F-650 XUV jumped out at us at the Chicago Auto Show. Perhaps we were already focused on Ford's Work Solutions trucks in the vicinity, but this insane beast just put our DSLRs on autopilot. The F-650-based XUV was built by Alton Manufacturing and carries a GVWR of 25,999 lbs. That makes the 660 ft-lbs of torque generated by its 7.2L Caterpillar engine seem paltry. Besides the big-rig-meets-Excursion bodywork, your nearly $200,000 expenditure for this XUV will get you hardwood floors, custom captains chairs, a 42-speaker sound system, two drop-down 16-inch TVs plus a 42-inch plasma, four computer workstations, plus a train horn. Oh, you'll also get bragging rights for the biggest, baddest truck in 99% of the world's neighborhoods.

(loser)Where do you put the stepladder used for getting in and out of it? I'm sure some nice four foot three soccer mom in Beverly Hills already has one, with Bluetooth cell phone of course!

LOL, maybe! I read Beverly Hills and reminded me of the pimped truck owned by this guy Ashton Kutcher. Anyway, For that price I think you get an OEM elevator on the other side of the "car" (with elevator music and A/C)) ;)

Yeah kind of like the CXT's. I'm shocked that Ford produced that one, there's been a company out of Florida making something similar for a little bit now out of the International CXT's, GM Kodiak, and F-550's. 15 mpg might be possible with the CAT under the hood. I would think its a pretty pointless thing to own, unless you just have stupid $ to blow.

So let's see...all I need is a couple of doors, some extra wheels, big gas tanks...

Yeah i should be able to replicate that this weekend. (eek2)

LOL. I knew you would have a word on this. You will think I'm kidding, but when I initially posted it, your Avatar and your forum member name "monsta" crossed my mind. I said "I hope it does not offend anyone" ;)

Still, that thing is like triple the size compared to an Excursion :D

BTW, Is your Excursion diesel or the has gas V10 engine? With Hawaii gas prices... (nailbyt)

Gas. 44 gallons of it. I lose a gallon with each 13.2 miles (overall average) I drive. Luckily I have two Mazda 5's. :D

I don't think its gets 40MPG, but 40GPM

I'd like to see someone drive that through downtown Tokyo.
