hard decision ,what intake should I get??

It's protected to some degree but is still subjected to a fair amount of dirt/dust. When I removed mine (ms cai), the filter was very dark, almost black.
Invest in an outerwear filter, will keep the main filter very clean.
I called mazda service today and thet said that i will lose my warranty if i will put a mscai because its for cars out of warranty its ****** stupid, if there is something saying that ms product cant void warranty??I think if iIhave to go I will go to other mazda service in area, I'm very dissapointed

i dont get why people make such a big deal out of what intake to get. ive seen a milion of these damn threads. if you want warranty get the damn MSCAI. if you dont want to suck in water or you worry you might someday, get the Cobb SRI its proven and wont **** your s*** up in terms of performance or warranty. this s*** is a no brainer any person should be able to make a decision on whats best for them given their situation/needs. if not you probably shouldnt have a high performance turbo'd car.

Those people are idiots. Of course, putting it on doesn't void the warranty. Nothing does actually, since they must show on a case-by-case basis that your mod or something else you did or didn't do caused the problem you want fixed under warranty.
But technically, there is nothing the Green Warranty that should offer you any comfort. If the MS-CAI causes a problem you are dependent on the good graces of the dealer and Mazda NA. Labor for any repairs is specifically excluded. They can satisfy the warranty by handing you a new CAI if it has failed somehow. The only way to be guaranteed that your warranty won't be affected is to have the CAI installed by the dealer before you drive your off the lot for the first time.
my maf blew up and i had to get it replaced. they told me if i came in with an aftermarket intake, they wouldnt be able to work on it/replace the MAF...and they would tell me to just come back with the stock airbox, then they would take a look and replace the MAF.

Cobb SRI, waited till 5,000 miles to install mine(So I really got a feal for stock), wish id waited 20 miles. It rocks, no doubt power increase, read some of my posts on it, i even did a poll. my car run 8.8 in 1/8, thats well into the 13's and the SRI is all I have, and the Corksport MM Inserts oh and the TWM Shifter Bushing (All great cheap mods).

This seems to be the position of most dealers: put it back to stock and they'll do the warranty work if you still have a problem. I guess warranty work pays better than nothing.

Well you can argue yes, but I can guarantee you that Mazda will not warrant something that's totally the driver's fault like hydro-lock.

A warranty is just like insurance: if coverage for a particular event is not excluded, it's included. They would no doubt fight it, though.
