What have you done to your P5 today?

Blast! Ya beat me to it! Oh well. Thanks for linkin the pics.

I Don't love Goooooold!

Sorry, not so much for me. I've gone black and won't go back(rlaugh)

Also, might be a dumb question, or maybe even the wrong place to ask, but how bad would the ride be if I just put in Espilar's and waited for the Tokico's? Or, should I wait and do em all at the same time? I don't have the tools to install myself, so, it'd save me $150 if I only did one install. My local shop quoted me $150 for springs and struts, or just springs.

Tylor

wait until you have both. You have to gut the hatch to get to the rear spring/struts. That is the biggest pain. The fronts are easy.

Exactly. Also, why do the job twice? Seems kinda silly. I highly recommend also getting 4 new mazdaspeed protege bump stops. It'll give you a bit more suspension travel once you're lowered.

Hmm. Havn't heard anyone else mention the bumpstops. Didn't even think about them. Time to hit up Jason at onlinemazdaparts.com for a quote on MSP bumpstops.

And, as stated, I won't be doing the work myself. Ain't got the skills or tools. So, it'll be going to a shop.

Hmm I'll have to look into that. I have to get new struts. My right rear one broke at the sway bar mount. Sheesh only 100 thousand miles lowered on stock struts with a 19mm sway bar.

It really makes sense to do them all at once. Needless to say that otherwise you'll have to pay for the job twice, and it's not cheap heh.

Wheels look good Tylor....I say go with the blue caliper paint like redneck!

I'm not so sure I want blue. I'm really leaning towards red. I've got laser blue valve stem cover things. Can't tell in the pic. It's diiiirty!! I'm thinking on painting around the rotors black and the calipers red. Hmmmmmm I don't know. I gotta photoshop it.

Gotcha. I agree with painting the rotors black (something I need to do as well). How about a red/black combo on the caliper or gloss black?

Shhhhhhhh. lol Yeah, he's here, but, I'm doing work on CAD, so, I have to save what I'm working on every so often. Gives me a chance to check the boards! And thanks again for the wheels!! I'm going to try to give the car a bath tomorrow and I'll post up some better pics I'll take with my good camera. Also, if your buddy does fall through on your hood, hit me up. I'm def. interested in it!! Unless you end up in a Mazdaspeed Protege, then you can keep your hood and trunk. (rockon)

Oh, and, i hate to have to tell you this, but, it's time to change your sig pic. :(

What kind of CAD work do you do? I am an architectural draftsman(architect without the liscense, draw house plans with 07' AutoCAD LT)

Met up with WesP03MP5 at the Bridgewater Mall to exchange my stock axle-back for his 03 roof moldings. So I get to drop my headliner in spring and look for some roof rack caps f/s soon.

Also got to check out his new Outlander....very nice. Gotta love a 650 watt factory sub and folding rear bumper! :)

had the giant "MAZDA" decal that the previous owner put on taken off. looks soo much better. I would take pics but washing her is near impossible (especially since we got another oh, 7 inches of snow today)

I bought some oil, an oil filter and an extending filler neck with hopes that I would be changing the oil and transmission fluid. However, on my way back to the apt I noticed I was having throttle issues again. It's the damn 626 IM - I don't know why my throttle cable is so tight. Everything is lined up correctly and the only thing I know isn't right is that the mounting clip is backwards (the little white clip-thing is facing the engine and not the firewall like it was before) but I'm not seeing how that would cause a problem...
