The MS6 Build-a-Beast is coming very soon...(Pics)

Wow, that'll be a steal for anyone in the position. Seriously, I'd give you at least 30k cash if I had it. Damn lottery never goes my way though, lol.

30k for a car that u can't get to idle right? I was thinking blue book if that, and then i would put it int he 3 and go from there.

I keep waiting for you to say "just kidding".

Good to know that the project can continue on either way, I guess...

The car is running lean b/c of the larger volume of air in your cylinder. You're compression ratio has been dramatically lowered and the car is reading the air from the maf and thinking that it only need add x amount of gas. It's probably maxed out it's allowable range for the maf parameter at idle and is seeing lean on the wbO2.

If the condition persists with the stock cdfp, then I would suggest you get one of these:

You can get rid of the MAF sensor altogether and it will feed the proper MAF signal to the ecu via a GM 3 or 5 bar MAP.

It can also be used with a WB02 sensor to allow you to hit AFR targets.

Ghettospeed posted about this on the other forum. Might solve your problems.

i really want to continue the project believe me i'd love to have the most powerful ms6, its just at the point where i have no car to drive all the time, and thats the point...i have no car. i cant walk and take the bus everywhere i go. I could buy a beater but then the money i use for that is going to delay me even more with this car. I can handle the money issue but its getting ridiculous at this point. I could have put this amount of money into another car that has tuning capabilities and make 700whp. It would be easier if a shop sponsored me but that isnt gonna happen. I find it easier just to sell it, take the loss, and it would probably take someone else a quater of the time and money to finish the project which is already 75% complete. Im still looking into doing a standalone but if anyone is interested in buying, then so be it, easier for me.

dont have a stock cdfp, this condition never exist during tuning and i drove the car for about a week until the idle started going crazy. Thought i had a leak in the i/c piping but we ruled that out today.

dada's device looks pretty neat. haven't seen that one before.

if you want you can pull the pump and put the stock internals in it, as he said, and if it does that with stock pump too, then thats not your problem. i can walk you through it on the phone, later tonight, not now.

i would think you'd be pegging the MAF as well.

Quoted from Kelly Blue Book:

Excellent: $24,000
Good: $23,210
Fair: $21,435

So 24k and you will sell it?

If you are serious PM me the VIN and I will see what I can do in the ways of a purchase in the next 24-48 hours.I have someone very interested in it.

pm sent...for anyone else interested. this isnt a for sale thread so use the PM please. thanks/.

i've been reading thru the thread and i just want to say good luck chris with whatever route you decide to take, selling or keeping the car. unfortunately it looks like mazda only made this motor to go so far. How its looking, if you can get AEM, HALTECH or someother company to use you as a guiny pig the stock ECU is killing you and the investement. again good luck.

im going to have to keep on with it....unless someone makes me an offer i cant refuse. Gonna take time to save up for a standalone and more labor charges.

Can't you find a good tuner to help you out? Ken keep telling you he can help you but, you guys are in different states, right?

so depressing... i've followed this thread for such a long time for what? to have valueable moments of my time taking from me which i willl never get back. chris you gotta keep going bro!!! this is what tuners and being a pioneer is all about!

yea Chicago and New York. pretty far drive or tow for that matter.

I am sticking with it. Im starting to save for a standalone. Between now and the time I buy the standalone, if someone offers me what i want for the car, im selling it.
