What have you done to your MSP today?

i picked up mine today from the best shop in Georgia, NE Autotek, i blew the the motor in July and now i finally have it back, one problem, on the way home it started running rich as a pig, check engine came on also, air fuel reads in the 10's with less than quarter throttle, any suggestions would really help me out.

thanks in advance!

I put new Goodyear Eagle F1 all seasons on the car! YAY for traction!
So far they grip like glue, even on some snow and ice.

i got the codes read today, for some reason my manifold is staying closed on bank one, code P2006 which is also causing codes P0101 and P0121

Well hey, when you figure out what to fix with your P2006, let me know. I got that same code and it's shooting the same resulting after codes. I asked in the GA forum and they were saying it might be vac lines or the WGA. Of course, yours is not stock so it might be something completely different.

Exedy Stage 1

Installed exedy stage 1 last night. Ordered from ************* on a Thursday received it on a Monday morning. Love it so far, but I gotta break it in correctly before I really get to appreciate it.

32 or 500 mile break in done. Lots of pointless driving to come.

Thanks JDM Sam

How tough was the clutch install? I have never done one before, but will need to in the next year or two. I'm actually thinking my clutch will be dead by the end of autocross season. Hopefully it doesn't fail halfway through the season.

Today I scheduled an appointment at the body shop to get the rear bumper fixed after some douchebag rear ended me. Hopefully it's a quick patch up and paint and not a new parts order, because they will definitely screw it up and order parts for a regular Protege.

yea i also have that clutch, very good clutch, grabs pretty fast (when i got my car back i almost stalled it lol)

I washed her yesterday, going to give her a wax job today.

What is it with MSP's and getting rear-ended? I've been rear-ended several times now, and I'm beginning to think people just love the MSP rear-end and want to "get all up in there."

That's happened to me more times than I can count at this point.

i've been rear ended also, but not very badly, it buffed right out.

this weekend i installed some 440cc injectors and a Walbro fuel pump and today i had it washed and waxed, looks awesome!

i hope none of the 03 msp's/mp3's get rear-ended and the lip gets ****** up. becuase those lips are on phase out and after the last few remaining are gone they are going to be discontinued

from what i know the 03.5 will still be produced only reason i found out about the 03 is when i pm'd bagman about getting one and he told me about the phaseout.

Discontinued (eekfu)

Well damn... I was just about to make a post saying how much I wish somone would rear end me enough to fix the rattle but not total the car... now I'm thinking I'll fix it my own damn self.

Speaking of... was that a common problem or is my just f*%#ed even more than I initially thought? The passenger side is not tightened down or something so when I am just sitting there idle, I can hear it vibrating... it's really irritating.

Good thing I changed everything over to 03.5 a while back.

The 03 rear lip is a pita to take off but looks really good on titanium speeds imo.
