I am stationed at Fort Bragg NC, but my home is bent mt near Roanoke. I have some family that live off of prices fork RD down in blacksburg.

Yeah, where I live is a rather large apartment complex off of Prices Fork. I probably know where you are talking about - I know the area pretty well.

The last time I checked 505 was pulling lots of timing at peak torque to remain safe...

Yeah, and I still say that it's the only thing that kept my car alive for the 277 pull. If I had been running a built motor and hadn't killed the torque, it would have easily put out 300ft-lbs on that run.

Sounds like you have gotten some good advice so far, I can vouch for the modified MPI setup, it works good and is easy to tune the car.

Only other thing I can say is that there is a new (short runner / large plenum) intake manifold coming out really soon. It is going to be sick.

Care to elaborate on this, or is everything hush hush? I'm just curious because there is a nicce 626 IM for sale right now but if something new and great is coming out I might be tempted to wait.
