So, I remember reading somewhere about someone with keyless entry on their car who discovered that their door locks no longer worked with the key. I seem to recall that they let their lock cylinders go unused for so long that they just rusted up, or something, and no longer turned.
Yesterday, I thought of this, and decided to try the key in the door of Dru's P5. As I'm sure you've guessed by now, it didn't turn. In fact, neither door will open with the key, and the hatch is stuck, too! If our keyless remotes or the car's battery were to die, we'd be hosed!
So, any idea how to free them up?
Would the dealership fix it under warranty? We're still under warranty until the end of this month, I suppose we could try to use it for the first time! (dunno)
