mazda dealer performance flash?

i had my 07' ms3 for service warranty issues and was talking with their speed head mech. he asked how i liked the car and how it performed. i told him my wife really enjoys it more than i do. anyways... he told me he heard from a very good source that Mazda plans to release a three tier perfomance flash.
one flash offers higher MPG's but lowers hp, the other is a 278 hp flash, and a high performance 297 hp. only available through speed dealers. he also said the 297 maybe a off road tune and to purchase it was to give up warranty but he wasn't sure about that.
maybe Mazda's gearing the 297 hp version for either ms3 owners who are nearing the end of their warranty or if you think about it. if a ms3 owner buys the 297 hp flash, Mazda is off the hook for warranty claims on their cars early before the full term is over. would be a smart move on Mazda if they did. AGAIN THIS HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED! DON'T KNOW IF ITS TRUE. anyone heard anything about this?
 
It dont sound right but we can always hope...I wish my nearest speed dealer wastnt over a hour away.You always have to go in and talk about this stuff,never over the phone it seems.

You know I was looking at his mods and thinking something was wrong but I already posted.Cant these people just be banned for wasting time and money...
 
As much as I dislike this tool, it would seem logical for Mazda to offer something of this nature. Considering our brothers from downunder have an "extreme" option, which we all know comes with a reflashed ECU. I could see this being an option in the future as a way for Mazda to do the same as Dodge with the Mopar stage kits. IDK. I would like to see something like this though.

I take the dealer was cool with all of your mods? I see you went back to your stock program. I been thinking of hanging the bottle on my migit wagon I will start out with 60 hp dry shot with walker's looney tune.

Bro I'm 27, and I'm a contributor to this forum. I think there are enough people here who will vouch for me and my credibility, especially in the audio field. I'm not a big shot, I'm just a person who is tired of you. Know when, know what, no worry.

I posted in my thread that i didn't KNOW if this was true but was told to me by a mazda speed head mech. i asked if anyone has heard anything about this. i am not saying this as being fact. its what i HEARD! you know you can't win with people who enjoy triing to belittle others to make themselves look better. live in hate, die in hate.

I KNEW IT! 27 yrs old?! and you called rumble rider son on another topic?! i guessed the average age of these know-it-all kids who come on here just to argue 24 to 30 and you're right there in the middle. let me tell you something SON. and i am old enough to call you that. i have been building force induction cars since you were riding your big wheel with the out of round front plastic rim. you see, i have built engines from the pan to valve cover. mic'ed the mains and checked thrust clearances. timed cams, cross drilled cranks and pushed "roots" superchargers, 671's 871's to their limits. which put turbos to shame. having said that, i don't have a third of the knowledge rumble ride knows about cars.
people like rumble rider and i don't call the bottom end "INTERNALS". most 20 something kids on here have never seen the inside of a short block nor ever assembled one. all you kids do is bolt on aftermarket crap and cat-back exhausts, carbon fiber hoods, and cai's!
