Idling Question

Well now most of the time it runs well, but sometimes it idles really low...and when I come off the clutch, it shutters like it wants to cut off. I'm starting to think it wasn't the fuel pump at all, just the relay. But now I have a fuel pump installed in the car that might be worse than the stock one I had in the first place. But a friend of mine just sent me another fuel pump, and I'm gonna see if that fixes the problem...

If this doesn't work, all vac lines will be replaced, and it's time for some new spark plugs...lol no such thing as a loser friend ha!!
 
if it works...if not..back to my thinking domain....aka..the toilet and a modified magazine..
 
As soon as I pick this up tomorrow night (just 1 of the sub boxes)...

I can gut the interior and check all of the fuel lines, vac lines (again), spark plugs and pcv valve!!

Well, I knew I needed a tune (due to the fact it has 174K miles on it) and I get one every 30k, so it stays on now...it still spits below 2K. When I change the fuel pump I'm gonna put some new spark plugs in it also. And I got a chance to dyno it yesterday. Yes, I'm very upset...

Naw...there was one guy with a MSP and his best run was 110whp...we couldn't understand that one. And it was completely stock w/ about 22,000 miles on it I think.
 
yea he did, but he has to get his car running as an n/a before he can upgrade , lol

Well, thanks to you (installed the fuel pump yesterday) the car is running like new! I also replaced the spark plugs and the pcv valve, so the next dyno run should look ALOT better. Then around March the turbo can go on, if nothing else falls apart. Thanks for everyone's help!!
