My pair of early 90's Supras. Both cars were just animals. You know you can't judge Toyotas very well on reliability when you own a Supra. But you can judge their soul. Want more power? Shim the wastegate! HAHA. I also remember getto-rigging a set of I.C. pipes for the thing using PVC and metal bands. That was an ordeal!
Worst situation (besides motors blowing while driving on the highway of course) was when I forgot to fully tighten the targa top on my Red one. I just put the top on without screwing it in, to keep water out if it rained at night. Well it didn't,and it was a beautiful day. So I take off, and as I hit about 40 mph, I start to see daylight in between the roof and the winshield top. Immediately thereafter, I have a roof that is flying in the air, and it crashes painted side down of course into the asphalt. I hit the brakes, skidded to a stop, and the roof slid behind me and stopped at my rear tires. Classic. From there on out, until I sold that car, the targa top never quite worked right or looked right again.
