What have you done to your MSP today?

Finally wired in the Innovate LC-1 WBO2 sensor and DB gauge, looks killer at night, pics or video coming soon. if i rememeber.

Where was it?

my forge bpv. its custom so tehy gave me 2 flanges so i can weld one to the pipe and the other is part of the bpv, but tehy dont make a gasket for it and i guess when they welded it, it warped it ever so much. so i made a nice gasket, and pressure tested it to 20 psi

Today I installed a Reverse cowl carbon fiber hood on my black MSP (it looks pretty stealthy because from far away you cannot tell its carbon fiber) and because there are no hole for my windshield sprayers I converted them to a pair of intercooler sprayers. Also recently I got my AEM wideband installed and put a non-fouler on the stocker o2 sensor so I could turn off my CEL. I'll try and post some pics soon for all you guys.

Looks like you had a couple of head-manifold exhaust leaks..

Oh yeah, that and my block got baked when the CS s-pipe sheared, it also cooked the oil return hose, not sure if you can tell by the picture but I was leaking a bit from there.

lol i see a stud back out on you dont worry same thing happened to me

Yeah not worried, not the first time it has been off, I play with the car too much. Sometimes just for fun.

bah turbos are overrated anyhow.

Don't you know it.

coilovers came off today for a little bit of adjustments. Driver's side axle seal changed, having a b**** of a time getting the axle back into that m.f.er. Gave up on it til tomorrow.

Looks like there is a big gap on the drivers side ... could just be the pics though ...

yeah its just the way the pic is...actually the gap on the pass side is a little bigger, but after working with the hood for awhile I realized that the gap is because of the fender placement. (car had a front end accident) That and those pics are from yesterday. I actually got the hood re-aligned today with my brother(hes a body guy) and the gaps look pretty good now (still a tad wider on the pass side3. but barely noticable.

Crash, i love it man, i want that same hood

Thanks S.A. I love it. The turbo is nice and loud because the vents are right above it and because there were no holes for the windshield sprayers I converted them to intercooler sprayers for now. Im gonna try to rig up some windshield sprayers in the future, but for now I am just keeping windex in the back seat!

The fitment is actually suprisingly good for aftermarket carbon fiber. I did not expect it to fit nearly as well as it did. But afte tweaking it back and forth three or four times and going with 10mm bolts to secure it rather than 12mms that are stock it is pretty well lined up. (thanks to mryellerMp5 for the hood and the 10mm bolts...made it easier to align the hood left to right and right to left)

It does look good though. I want to get the evo hood myself.

That was the hood i was going to get first from D_Roc, but our deal fell through because of shipping issues. Now that I have this one I actually like it more than the EVO one because it is a little more low key. However the EVO is more functional cause of those giant vents!

Yeah I want to get it for functionality not show. My car is a daily driver and I know those vents will help a ton with all the heat under the hood. Especially i'm only going to be running an upgraded smic not a fmic ...
