make sure its ok for closed areas and doesnt need ventilation. some of those commercial sound deadeners are for well ventilated areas and have noxious fumes in their gluesAnybody ever hear of soundcoat.com ? We had a bunch of their sound deading sheets at the jobsite I was just at. We were used it to deaden the sound on some sheetmetal chutes. I brought back a bunch of scrap pieces. I was thinking of using it in the P5. Works really well for the chute application we have. Seems like it would be OK in the car......
better watch what you post, Airman...

AMaff, as Mark says, already done the bearings.
Josh, Yup that's what I'm thinking, but I would replace the halfshaft though, 65 bucks at Autozone.
So anyone ever change one? I can't be the 1st?
i checked autozone online and it didnt show up in the search...do i guess i'll keep looking. if i can't find it local i probably wont do it because i'm not gonna pay to have it shipped. i'll check their stores though
Yeah it is vht. I looked at autozone and they did not have it. They guy told me to go to WESTBAY. I dont know if you have them where you live. The guy said go and look in the autobody section.
I will scan and post up some time slips so you guys can make fun of me. I fell short of my goals. Let's just say that. 17.2 in the 1/4th was my best time. I know of 2 ways to improve my time though and I am going to check them out another time. One is not shifting into 4th and just redlining it all the way to 82mph in 3rd gear. The other is to launch at 5,600 RPM instead of the 5,000 that I did with my best time.
