Hi there. I am hoping someone can help. I recently purchased a 2007 Mazda 3 s Touring. I love it and I have about 400 miles on it so far. I hear a strange sound that I want to see if anyone else is experiencing in their car.
It is a click sound that seems to be coming from the outside of the car right under the gas pedal. I only hear it when I am in between oh about 2 mph and 8 mph after the car has been parked for a period of time. It only happens that one time then after the car is being driven it does not happen again. Meaning it does not happen again after taking off from red lights or stop signs. But each time I start my car and leave a spot like home, or parking lot at work etc. it happens. It sounds like something is engaging, but what? I searched the owners manual but found nothing that it could be. I know there is supposed to be a sound when the DSC engages but the manual said that is supposed to come from the dashboard. This sound it definitely not coming from the dashboard.
Anyone have any ideas? I hate to let the dealer look at it because I hate handing my car over to those people unless I have to.
Anyone?
Thanks so much
