depending on how much you want to spend the MSP or MP3 stock shift is a good value as a short shifter as it is a short throw by say 20 percent vs 33ish for a real short shifter. And depending on which shifter you get you may also need a new knob as all proteges are not the same.

Id rather have a msp shifter would actually feel more comfortable with it..
