Edit 10/27 - Ignore the text below... just looking for MAM w/Hi-flow cat. Thanks!

Hey all. I'm going to be test installing a new header for the 2.0 engine. It's similar to obx style, but it doesn't have a 2nd bung welded in for the 2nd o2 sensor. I'm looking for a MAM midpipe w/the bung welded on so I can relocate my 2nd o2 sensor there like many have before. I would order right from MAM or protegegarage, but there is a long delay on this item, and I'm trying to install this header for you guys ASAP so we'll know if there is any fitment issues/thing that need to be tweaked before it goes into production for us. If no one can help me out, then I'll just have a 2nd bung welded onto the header, but it sure would be nice to put that midpipe in at the same time and not have to worry about it. Feel free to PM me. Thanks :D

Yup. Hopefully it will all fit good... I'll be taking lots of pics and documenting the whole thing. If I can't get a midpipe, I'm not sure if I'll do the cel/mil fix and just not run the 2nd o2 right off the bat, or if I will indeed get the 2nd bung welded on... all I know is that as soon as it arrives I want to get it on :D We'll see....

the mam midpipe w/bung may require you to lenghten the 2nd o2 sensor wire btw.

If you get a bung welded on, the nonfouler trick works the best :)

the non fouler trick is a physical extension VS a wire/MIL fix. i talked with beau tonight and he said to keep the midpipe orders coming in, they will ship. let me know if you want to order!

Ok. I'm just a little confused because this is the first time I've heard the term "nonfouler" and all I was perviously familar with is the traditional cel/mil fix.

a non fouler moves the o2 sensor further outside the pipe like an extension. a MIL fix is wiring in a few resistors to alter the signal to the ECU

Thank you, I understand now. Chances are I'll prob just get the bung and do this nonfouler trick, however I might give some thought to the midpipe still. I'll let you know soon if I want to go ahead with the midpipe as to not delay the install for everyone.

nonfouler is a mechanical trick vs the mil eliminator which is an electrical trick.

nonfouler requires drilling (search for thread titled "Testing new NO CEL method on catless cars")

Mil requires soldering.

Bump... still looking for this item... MAM w/hi-flow cat. If anyone is selling, shoot me a pm please. Thanks!
