Looking for a P5
I've been checking around for a P5 and had a few questions.
How vital is it warranty wise that the car you get has all it's service records with it? Found a 2003 P5 w/ 32K (asking $12K) that should still be under factory warranty, but the dealer says he doesn't have any service records and doesn't even know if the 30K service has been done. Will Mazda honor their warranty?
Also is there a way to check if a car has had the VICS (screws falling out issue) recall done before buying it if the dealer/owner doesn't know? I ran a Carfax report on it and it said no open recalls, but it sounds like cars outside of the recall still can have the issue.
