Wow, My insurance on the car is only 401/6 months (about 66 a month)

not too shabby. just curious on what everyone else is paying though. its under my dad's name and he is also getting the multple car/preferred driver rate..and i have that good student crap if it helps any, heh.

I'm pretty lucky then I guess... I'm paying about 1,200 a year with a DUI, an accident(the MSP), and a 51% at-fault accident(backing out of a parking spot at the same time as someone else, and they magically found a witness to say it was my fault...)

I don't even want to hear it... $3780/yr for me.

2000: 2 at fault accidents, 1 not at fault, 1 speeding ticket, 1 failure to yeild to traffic control device.
2001: Clean (No car during this time.)
2002: Clean (No car during this time, either.)
2003: 3 speeding tickets since I got my 'Speed on 04.09
(One cleared by defensive driving, Two still unpaid. (no))

Nice, eh?

Moose

what happened man did you run over a cops baby? god damn
What the hell do you do for a living, I think I need your job.

I pay 2580/year, which will drop when my last ticket goes off my record in october. My deductable is $500/month 23yo male with progressive.
Oh and I also have a not at fault deductable because my last car a '96 Regal GS Coupe, the engine caught on fire and totaled the car. Progressive is actually sueing GM over this as it may be related to a recall issue(that was repaired at the time) but is identical to the recall symptoms. So i may get my deductable back from that woot!

I pay $120 per month (In Canadian $$) age-36 , Two not-my-fault accidents in the last 5 years. DUI in dark past (15 years ago) so I dont know that they can even hold that against me. Also two speeding tickets in the last 11 years. I am on a company fleet insurance which saves me about 30% from standard rates. ALso, because of the way that Mazda did the MSP, my insurance company thinks I'm driving an ES model. They go by the VIN . :) Works for me. My rates on an RSX-S or Celica GTS would've been much higher. Thanks Mazda! I love my MSP!!!!

thats all cool and all, until you total the car, and they give you ES money for it.
