I was just reading another post and Kwiktsi(joe p) said he traded in the MSP!
Did I miss this or something?
And if so why?
Im on every day almost and I don't miss much so where did this come from?
Matt:)

Yeah, He has not posted in a while here. Hrrrmmm, has another MSP owner went to way side, and left our world ?

no dude :)
they were talking about another member traidint in his ORANGE MSP fro a TITANIUM one.

i dont think joe will part with his baby untill he dry-humps us all and makes his MSP a 500whp monster.

LOL

joe p traded it in?!
damnit.. he was one of the ones i know i could count on for solid info, and more good products and R&D, with what works and what doesnt.

Joe, say it aint so!

Sorry .. I seem to thread jack a lot- it is one of those "since it was brought up" type of things ..

As for your deal- do what makes you happy .. I would go to the dealer and at least "hear them out" on what they will give you for trade and sell you the other car for. I only got $14K for my MSP when I traded it in though .
Joe

Read it a weep, he said he only got 14k for his MSP when he traded it in

I must have just mis-interpreted his wording in his post.Oh well!I guess I could be wrong.Theres a first time for everything!
Matt:)

if you read in the club rsx or whatever thread he goes on there and says he got rid of it because he wanted to get back into the domestic scene and run 9's.

Do you have an ounce of a clue about turbo cars or how the IC systems work? They heat soak worse at the autox- constant high load conditions with a "small" IC that doesn't get good airflow as it is will cause it to heat soak. 13-14 second blasts doesn't give it enough time to get that hot. And yes, 1/2 hour is plenty of time for it to cool down again. I was referring to my dyno runs where there was no air at all crossing the IC, of course it will get hot and lose power very quickly. Man, I wish I kept the MSP now, just to shut people like you the hell up- oh well, I gotta grow up sometime, maybe you will follow suit one day ... I am not a road race/ auto x guy at all, but people are doing VERY well with the MSP's. I like to play around on the street and go to the track occasionally- the MSP did well for that compared to most of the typical Import Honda s*** around here (more rice than power ), the Talon handled the rest of the Imports and a lot of the domestics . Now they are both gone and I am going for the 9's, screw this childs play crap .
page 7 or 8 i think in the "people are bashing msp's" thread, and he says in other places on those many pages that he got rid of it.

OH CRAP.........."I" MISSREAD IT !!!!

D'OHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(sad2) (sad1)

Shoot, this kind of news merits a n'awlins style funeral dirge emotie.

Its true Joe's MSP is no more. I know the hole story but I'm not telling :p.
However he will still be offering his products and support aswell as checking in now and again.

See you whinny little MSP bastards chased out another member :p

He will still be around I'm sure.Joe Rulez (thumb)

Yeah, he got rid of it to start work on domestics again. He wants to be in the 9's, and he wanted a lil more horsepower out of a daily driver.

Nawww...

Joe just figured out that a modded MSP would never hang with a modded DSM!
Unfortunately this is true.
Matt:)
