will the tranny hold up to a turbo upgrade?

O.K i know there is a couple of turbo upgrade's out there for the MSP and i plan on getting one soon.but i've heard the transmission has WEAK gear's i don't know much about the MSP's transmission but i know that i'd have to replace the clutch but i don't know about the LSD,etc,etc. please anybody shed some light on this for me.

How much boost you going to be running or how much power are you planning on having?

The stuff will hold up to some abuse, but it depends on how crazy you are expecting to go.

dude i just want enough hp/tq to SMOKE the srt-4's around here.i'm thinking anywhere from around 220hp-240tq should do.what do you suggest?

go easy on your tranny and shift smoothly without forcing the shifter into gears.

get some motormounts too.


srt-4 got you a lil angry ah. By the time you get this done he will probally have 300whp in his neon.
