I just bought a set of gold-line springs for my 02 es. I have 17's with 205/40 tires will i rub? If so how much

if your wheels are of the right offset, you should be fine.

most likely not. unless you have a really low offset on your 17s, you should be fine. i am running goldlines and 19s and no rubbing. you will like the drop and ride(2thumbs)

like slamdp5 said, it depends on the offset. should be a least a 42mm

As stated....it will depend on the offset of your wheels....
the recommendation from the expert is....the expert being Rishie,
if they are 17 X 7....you should have a +45 offset...if they are 7.5's then a +48 is recommended. with those offsets you won't rub....if they are less than that....they there is a possiblilty....but you can USUALLY but not always get away with as much as 3 mm less that optimal.

I have goldlines on my 2000 with 205/40/17's on 7.5" rota subzero's ..no rubbing yet .. the rota's are a 45 offset

I have the eibach prokit and 17.5 wheels with a 40 offset and 215/40/17 tires. I rub when i have more then 2 passengers but all I have to do is shave the inside of the fender or roll it up and ill be fine
