wierd noise? any thoughts on what it could be guys?

its coming from the throttle body-intake manifold, its a ticking noise. stays for like 5- 10 secs then goes away and comes right back.
i read some where that its the vtc something like that?
any thoughts guys.

this is at idle, cant really hear anything when driving.

it could be the electrical part that was/is attached to the plastic air intake tube that connects directly to your throttlebody. if you replaced that with hard piping you are likely to notice the ticking noise now. noticed this when i put a short ram on my P5, drove me insane for a couple days before i figured out what it was and how to position it so it would not bother me.

found out what is, its on the pipe that runs to the throttle body, right before it gets there there is a tee on it for vacumm purposes i assume. well theres a soleniod where the 2 hoses connect...that biatch is making that ticking niose.

Yeah I've noticed that the engine is loud too. Can't even here the exhaust over the engine......
