Why is it soo dead on this forum. I've hardly seen anyone post anything here in the past month. Are people getting less and less interested in Mazda 6's?

no, its that most of the people that buy them are not really into this type of thing. i mostly see 30/40 year olds driving 6's around here.

I see. Now I got a question for you guys. I'm buying a 6 really really soon. And I've been looking at the V6 manual tranny. But what do you guys think is best get the V6 and dont do any mods. or get the 4 cyl. and do some mods? I dont want a turbo though. And prices for suggested mods would be nice. Thnx!

This is a nice 'additional' place to post/discuss about the 6, and the mods/community here are friendly and welcoming (by and large) but there are other more Mazda 6 specific sites out there where ALL we talk about is 6's.

This area here seems to cater more to the Protege crowd interested in 6's out of curiosity, or a desire to upgrade and stay with a Mazda and everything their cars stand for

yep...what I saw from an observation point is alot of people religously attended the 6club as if it was the only forum that existed until it went down.

I personally would get a manual V6 and mod it a little... CAI, lowering springs and 18"-19" rims.

If you want manual buy now...if you want auto wait till the 6 speed lands at the dealers lots or order avalability.

also another thing to do is try tracking down an 03 still on the lot....almost mission impossible but if you come across one....you might just have stable enough ground to talk them down. You would make history in canada if you got them to lower price...

I already got them to lower the price from 34 700 everything included except taxes down to 32 477 everything included except taxes. The guy really wanted to help me with the price and it didnt even take him a minute to go talk to his supervisor, I went to one other dealer with that price with hopes of getting even lower, they were rude and told me good night. I'm going to one last dealer, the same place I bought the Mazda 3. I know the guy who runs the place and think he can get it down a lil lower for me. If not, I think I already got a good deal given the fact the last dealer I went to practically told me to **** off!
