Why did you buy a Protege 5?

I am kind of pissed i payed $200 over invoce with everyone paying under!

yeah me too, i paid 300 over invoice, buying through costco drove it right to my door

oh well, 1 year ago they werent offering it under invoice, thats life, everything is cheaper after you buy it

even though the engine is only 130hp, it is capable of producing A LOT OF TORQUE!! just look at all the turbo kits out there. hiboost tested their kit at 300 ft/lbs. now you gotta admit thats pretty impressive. i just put on an intake and that engine ROARS!! just ask uclap5 when he came up here VAROOM!!!

originally i was atracted to the sedan but after actually sitting in the p5, theres kind of a fung shway thing going on in there. all is well in the car. i think everybody will agree with me there.

i think the p5 is one of the best looking cars out there. in fact i say its the best looking compact cars of all time.

Because they're trying to get rid of stock. August is when new stock roles in. And it all depends on what region you are in where the dealer is willing to sell under invoice less any rebates.

Well I got $200 over invoce then the $2250 rebate applied in late July. I thought it was a good deal atleast

Not to mention it will be hard to get more stock of P5s in august as the 2003.5 are the last ones.

Still a good deall IMHO my friend. I got mine for $500 under invoice, but the rebates back in April was only $1750. So it actually kinda evens out cuz you got a bigger rebate.

Thinking back on the sale, I would tend to concur w/ EXA. The dealership just received a boatload of P5s that week. The sale itself was a little too pleasant. Heh, I don't know if it was the jaded look in my eyes after visiting 2 other dealerships that day , but the salesman started off at invoice, and we went from there.
